New Welcome Building for Ribe Viking Center

The life of the Vikings continues to fascinate and inspire, and Ribe Viking Center is experiencing growing interest and visitor numbers. We are prequalified for the competition for The Gate to Ripa, a new welcome building at Ribe Viking Center that will greet visitors and set the stage for the many experiences in the landscape, where Viking-age Ribe is reconstructed and brought to life.

The building will include exhibition spaces, a museum shop, and offices – and serve as a portal to another era, engaging all the senses. The four prequalified teams are:

Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects with Artelia and Marianne Levinsen Landskab
Reiulf Ramstad with Lytt and EKJ
Adept with Reværk and Viggo Madsen
Cobe with Fuldendt and Mikkel Hollmann
