The Circus Building Shines Once Again

We handed over the newly restored Circus Building in the fall of 2025. Verner Panton’s iconic universe of color and light in the public areas from 1983 has been brought back to life and is furnished with Panton’s own furniture and lighting. Historic building elements have been conserved, architectural features recreated, and new functions and modern comforts introduced, ensuring that the building can serve as a vibrant setting for entertainment and events for many years to come.

The Transformation of the Viking Ship Hall Begins in 2026

In 2026, the transformation of the Viking Ship Hall from 1969—part of the new Viking Ship Museum—will begin. The hall is an architectural landmark that will be preserved, climate-protected, and renewed, enabling it to function as a versatile exhibition building and an attractive gathering place for the citizens of Roskilde. We also look forward to completing the detailed design of the new museum building in 2026. The timber structure will showcase the five Skuldelev ships and safeguard them for future generations.

Universal Design Is on the Agenda

Large parts of our listed architectural heritage are currently difficult to access for people with disabilities. That is why, together with poet Caspar Eric and Camilla Ryhl from the Bevica Foundation, we developed a vision for a beautiful and inclusive arrival experience for all at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. There is a need for debate—and for concrete proposals on how historic and listed buildings can be made accessible to everyone without compromising their cultural and historical values. In 2026, we will continue to focus on ensuring equal access to art and cultural heritage for all citizens.

We Tested Clay Walls for the Novo Nordisk Foundation Headquarters

We are the lead consultants for the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s new headquarters in Hellerup, which will set new standards for office buildings in Denmark. The building will be primarily constructed in timber and is being developed to achieve DGNB Gold, Heart + Diamond certification, with a goal of a low LCA footprint. In 2025, we delivered the tender project. The consultancy team created a façade mock-up in oak and conducted successful fire tests of both clay brick and clay panel walls, designed to contribute to a healthy indoor climate. In 2026, we will continue with the interior design, including the design of all furniture. The project is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in 2027.

Signalhuset – A New Timber Building in Stockholm

With a new local plan in Stockholm’s Tidningskvarter district, the vision for densification and further development of the former industrial area — home to the city’s media houses and printing presses — can be realized. Here, we are developing Signalhuset, a 14,000 m², nine-story timber building. We look forward to developing timber construction solutions that enable the building’s organic architectural expression while also accommodating the complex site logistics required when densifying an existing urban area.
