Lundgaard & Tranberg among four teams competing for Fabrikken in Brønderslev
We look forward to presenting our very best proposal for transforming the old factory buildings in Brønderslev, because this project is about creating lasting change for people outside Denmark’s major cities. It also allows us to bring our extensive experience in transformation to carefully preserve the region’s important industrial heritage in a respectful and innovative way — perfectly aligned with Brønderslev’s unique local spirit.
Ejendomsfonden Fabrikken i Brønderslev has announced the four prequalified teams competing to design the framework for Brønderslev’s new cultural center:
AART Architects, with sub-consultants Sweco Danmark A/S, ReVærk ApS, and ERIK BRANDT DAM Arkitekter ApS
C F Møller Architects, with sub-consultants Arcgency and Arup
Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects, with sub-consultants Pihlmann Architects and BOGL
Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, with sub-consultants Rørbæk & Møller, Artelis Rådgivende Ingeniører, LYTT Architecture, and MATTER bybrix
“We at Ejendomsfonden Fabrikken are proud to have received 26 highly qualified applications for prequalification to transform PN Beslag’s closed buildings into a vibrant new cultural heart in Brønderslev. We are pleased with the selection of skilled consultants and sub-consultants we could choose from. This promises four strong and exciting competition proposals that can combine tradition and innovation,” says Thorkil Neergaard, Chairman of Ejendomsfonden Fabrikken.
The competition submissions are scheduled for early December 2025.
