Lundehaven consists of 48 care homes and 19 non-profit senior housing units located by Skovlunde Torv. The project demonstrates how housing of high architectural quality can be created for the public sector. The goal has been to create a pleasant, homely atmosphere for the residents and the best working conditions for the staff.

The care center consists of a single U-shaped building volume, while the senior housing units are arranged in two separate building clusters. All buildings are three stories high and centered around an internal courtyard.

All service and staff facilities are located on the ground floor, while the care homes are situated on the two upper floors, organized into six groups, each with eight units arranged around shared living and care facilities.

Corridors and circulation areas are spacious and bright with open layouts, offering views of the lush courtyard where residents can play pétanque, pick berries, and gather for meals.
