The ’castle’ is an integrated children’s centre, located in Bronshøj, an urban area that is varied both in scale and expression.
The institution is organized as a freestanding three-storey building, compact and cubic in form.
The façade proportions and choice of materials are welcoming and exude the promise of a varied and rich experience for both children and adults. The spatial organization of the interiors sets a high priority on clarity and ease of orientation.
From the street called Svensklejeren, the main entry gives direct access to the main stair, from which there is access to group and common rooms on all three storeys, with views to the north over the playground.
